Where do I get a G2 product slug?
From the G2 URL path: g2.com/products/postman/reviews is slug postman. Product-index returns slugs as id on every row. Category listings also return product slugs you can deepen.
What happens if the product does not exist?
You get a 404 with the standard error envelope and the credit is refunded automatically. Malformed input is rejected as 400 before anything is deducted.
Does this endpoint return written reviews?
No. Product is the listing record. Written review text lives on GET /v1/g2/reviews with the same id. Use product when you need rating aggregates, categories, plans, and alternatives.
How much does a G2 product lookup cost?
