Finance Options API
Scrape Finance Options data with one API call. Returns one expiry's option chain as a flat unified OptionContractList: calls and puts in a single list distinguished by `type`, each with strike, bid, ask, last price, volume, open interest, implied volatility and an in-the-money flag. Flattening is deliberate, so filtering by `type` works exactly like filtering by `strike` instead of walking two differently-shaped arrays. Options quotes are OPRA data and are delayed by roughly 15 minutes; this endpoint is not suitable for execution decisions.

Returns one expiry's chain as a flat list: calls and puts together, split by type, with strike, bid, ask, open interest and implied volatility.
Use it to scan a chain without walking two arrays. OPRA data is roughly 15 minutes delayed, so do not trade off it.

response = requests.get(
"https://www.socialcrawl.dev/v1/finance/options",

},
headers={"x-api-key": "YOUR_API_KEY"},
)
data = response.json()const response = await fetch(
"https://www.socialcrawl.dev/v1/finance/options?keyword=AAPL",
{
headers: { "x-api-key": "YOUR_API_KEY" },
},
);
const data = await response.json();Parameters
| Parameter | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| keyword | Yes | Underlying ticker. A bare symbol ('AAPL') or the 'TICKER:EXCHANGE' form; the exchange suffix is ignored. |
| expiry | No | Expiry to return as YYYY-MM-DD. Defaults to the nearest available expiry. An expiry with no listed contracts returns an empty list, not an error. |
