Finance History API
Scrape Finance History data with one API call. Returns daily OHLCV bars for one instrument across an explicit date range, as a unified BarList. Each row carries `close` AND `adj_close` as separate leaves, and the distinction matters: `close` is split-adjusted only, `adj_close` is adjusted for splits AND dividends. Use `adj_close` for total-return maths and `close` for drawing prices; substituting one for the other produces a plausible wrong answer whose error grows the further back you look. Cash dividends and splits appear on the dated row they take effect, so a corporate-action history needs no second call. Delisted instruments return no data, and a recycled ticker resolves to whichever company currently holds the symbol.

Returns daily OHLCV bars for a date range. Each row carries close and adj_close separately, plus any dividend or split effective that day.
Use it for charts, returns and backtests. Pick adj_close for total return, close for price. Delisted tickers return nothing; recycled ones return the new company.

},
);
const data = await response.json();Parameters
| Parameter | Required | Description |

| start_date | Yes | First session to return, as YYYY-MM-DD. |
| end_date | Yes | Last session to return, as YYYY-MM-DD. |
| interval | No | Bar width. Defaults to 1d (daily). Wider intervals return fewer, coarser rows over the same range. (1d | 5d | 1wk | 1mo | 3mo) |
