It scores each row against your query and drops the ones that fall below the threshold, so off-topic posts never reach your list. The response reports how many rows were scored, kept and dropped.
Which platforms can I include?
The example uses tiktok, instagram and youtube in platforms. Add or remove names from that list and the response shows a status, row count and credits for each source that was called.
How are duplicates handled?
Results are deduped by URL, and the response reports duplicates_removed. Each row keeps its platform tag, and data.sources names each platform's own endpoint if you want to go further on one result.
Can I limit the results to recent posts?
The response includes a since field with the start of the window it applied, so recency is part of the call. Check the endpoint page for the exact parameters before you set your own date.
When should I use search/everywhere instead?
The registry says search/multi is for the raw results of several platforms in one list. For a ranked, summarised answer with clusters and comments attached, use search/everywhere, and for news or forums use search/news or search/forums.
How much does one run cost?
