# X Search Tweets API (https://www.socialcrawl.dev/platforms/twitter/search-tweets)

> Searches X (Twitter) for tweets matching a keyword or phrase, each result with the full text, like count, retweet count, reply count, bookmark count, view count, media attachments, author info, and creation timestamp. `sort` picks the ranking: `latest` (the default) returns the newest matches first, `top` returns the most popular ones. Page size is set by the source, typically around 20 tweets. To go deeper, send `pagination.next_cursor` back as `cursor` and repeat until `pagination.has_more` is false; each page costs 1 credit.
