# Prism Store Author List API (https://www.socialcrawl.dev/platforms/prism/discover-inputs)

> Stores a list of up to 10,000 author handles and returns `author_list_id`, which `prism/discover` accepts in place of a long `authors` list that would not fit in a URL. POST a JSON body `{ "kind": "authors", "authors": ["handle", "@handle", "https://x.com/handle", "twitter:handle"] }`. A bare handle matches on any platform; a `platform:handle` entry only on that platform. The list is encrypted at rest, belongs to your account only, and expires after 30 days. Each account can hold 20 lists at once. Only author lists are stored here: send `context` and `questions` in the body of `POST /v1/prism/discover`. Free.
