# Gumtree Categories API (https://www.socialcrawl.dev/platforms/gumtree/categories)

> Returns Gumtree's category hierarchy: id, text, seo slug, parent, and children. Omit category_id for the full tree. Pass a category id or SEO slug (cars) to get that node's subtree. Use the ids as category_id on GET /v1/gumtree/search and GET /v1/gumtree/filters.
