# Gab Profile API (https://www.socialcrawl.dev/platforms/gab/profile)

> Returns a Gab account's public profile in the unified Author shape under `data.author`: `id` (Gab's numeric account id, as a string), `username`, `display_name`, `bio`, `avatar_url`, `url`, `verified`, `private` (the account is locked), `followers`, `following`, `posts_count` and `joined_at`. Gab does not publish a total like count, so `likes_count` is null. A handle that does not exist returns a 404 and is not billed.

TL;DR: `GET /v1/gab/profile` costs 1 credit per call and returns SocialCrawl's unified JSON schema. Single x-api-key auth, 100 free credits on signup.
